For my end-of-year project, the purpose was to design a programme for the ballet show Giselle.
Ballet has been around since the late 19th century and creating this work for this ballet show will portray how it has adapted current contemporary design into this work but still bring through the original story. This project fits in with contemporary design with the techniques such as composition and space whilst maintaining a big influence on Swiss design practices. Space and scale will be important techniques in my work as they will help to encourage a sense of movement within the design, this is because space and movement are very important elements within dance.
